only a couple of things in there at the moment, but i am hoping to put up brushes and so on eventually. Sort made the new account because some things to me don't fit in the art or wallpaper category.

Just as i was putting this up, i heard on the news about the new low GI sugar. I have only one thing to say to the scientists who bred this type of sugar cane: LEAVE OUR FOOD ALONE!!!! Moderately good news is though that the price of corn has gone up, so finding something to eat lately hasn't been so much of a challenge. I have noticed that on packets of food they now have 'wheat glucose' specified for us corn-allergic people, which is a great thing. Though, to have a bowl of ice cream to me would be heaven. I won't ramble about food allergies for now though, everyone would still be reading this stuff for a week

Just to let ya'll know there is a site called [link] which has a load of free magazines to download. I am just looking at the latest one at the moment and will probably download the rest. Very slow downloading, but enjoy!!!!

Coopers Pale Ale Beer has overtaken Luchare for this journal. Quite a sight to see a bottle of beer typing on the keyboard, but it is possible.

While trying to go through 800 deviations, Luchare has decided to boycott NDD's - better known as Nude Daily Deviations. Every instance of looking at someone's beautiful artwork, a nude man in the DD's kept popping up all the time at the bottom of the page. Very distracting, let alone in her opinion, not artworthy unless seeking an adult site, but that's just her opinion.

Her other hates include:

1. People who boil up chicken carcasses at 600am in the morning. Luchare does not like chicken as it is, but trying to walk down the hallway of her apartment building while this dead bird smell drifts through her nostrils, is just beyond comprehension. At the end of the hall is the elevator to get down to street level. Quite frequently while smelling dead poultry corpses causes her to dry heave while pressing the down button.

2. People who continue to light fires even when the fires have just about burned themselves out. Is there anything left to burn? Last time Luchare looked at the news, there appeared to be black stick in a black ground with black smoke tendrils drifting around. There is nothing left!! So stop trying to burn bushes!!

3. People that decide to become 'fire experts' to give them an excuse to sightsee the destruction made by the fires in Victoria. Please, leave these poor peeps alone!! They have enough to worry about without looking out across the yard and seeing city people gawking at what they don't have left!!

Latest weather - it's damned cold here at the moment. And windy, which is not helping the firefighters right now trying to put out the worst fires known in the bush since...who knows when. You see these poor people on tv saying that they lost everything, some of them not insuring their possessions or their houses and losing everything they own. Okay, not all the fires were caused by scum, some were caused by lightning strikes. But seems that someone handed over a videotape of some sort of one of the people who started one/several the bush fires. I know they should not 'ublicly' announce they have a suspect but a lot of Australians should be aware of this, seeing that the ones who did survive the horrible fires are now living in tents. All because of one or several sick fartheads that did not 'carelessly throw out a cigarette butt out of their car' - rather that it seems most of the fires were deliberately lit. Perhaps with a rolled up newspaper on a hot day, is my theory.

I apologize though, after a couple of beers and watching the news, I tend to ramble a bit. I feel so sad for these people, mostly farmers who struggle enough as it is during the drought, let alone have this happen to them. Someone told me that there was a farmer killing the few cattle that he had left because they were so badly burned that there was nothing he could do for them.

Hope is there though. There were so many stories and photos of koalas seeking out people for water, and there were a couple of pics I saw of people giving them water out of their bottles by hand. And there was also a bald cockatoo that despite having all of his feathers burned from him, he was still as cheeky as ever, trying to peck the camera.
