Bryce Basic Mat Tutorial Part 3 - The important part

Okay, this is when it starts to get a little hairy. At the bottom of your first lot of dots to the right of the volume you will see letters A B C D. I hope this is the same as Bryce 5.5, but I am not sure as I am using Bryce 6. As far as I know nothing has changed much between the two versions. These letters correspond with the letters that i have circled to the right of the material makers/changers. It is important to know this because it gives you complete control over your materials, i.e. what you are making. In the next screen shot I will put up a little exercise to try, nothing to strenuous. I am putting these one at a time, mainly so it is easier to see, and also with me if I am given too much info over several screens of tutorials, I am liable to download a tutorial but never look at it again.

I would have supplied a link, only things I can't get in there - the website must be having troubles because I haven't been able to download anything for a while. But if you type it in the search field, two options show up, just download either of them. It a very handy tool for viewing tuts while you work, and reference photos.
