I really like the interior setting. it does manage to look like a half machine, half living space alien building.
Very nice work. Is it the interior of a boleaon cube?
Damn, I cannot figure how you pulled this one off

'No,' I answer, 'it happened once before, the Dark Ages came and they lasted for more than five hundred years.'

I actually did play with the rez in TE to get the older, stone part of the city. Started out low rez and just kept turning it up as I painted it. worked okay. to much trial n error though. So I am going to use Corel and make my maps out of vector shapes in greyscale, then save em as jpegs n use them to make buildings n cities. far more ablility to used gradiants and cut n paste and mirroring that way. plus sharper, more controlled terrain and such. If you have a vector program I highly suggest making your floors n walls, heck, anything that can be extruded really, that way.
Your could make typed out Plaques for scenes, or forms for large scale models like buildings. Etc;
The only downside is it has to start big and grade down. No vertical bulges or such. But this method will take the randomness out of your terrains and buildings and put YOU in control of the creating again
Had a family issue come up today and was not able to get to my computer until now. So I will be trying it out tomorrow, assuming I have peace for a day
Take care amiga!
